Ep 81- Hollywood East Rises Again (Or not, not really)

Bob and Ginger of the Central Florida Film Fest talk about this year’s upcoming festival. Bob shares stories from his work with Ringling’s Christmas TV special and the early days of Orlando’s film industry. A lot of focus is on how the film industry has evolved locally. Then Veronica Russo stops by to talk about her new film, Mafiosa. This locally produced film stars numerous Hollywood talent and has received international awards. It will see its’ local premiere during the Central Florida Film Fest.

This week we’re light on the news but heavier on the interview with these three special guests.

We do talk about Taste of the Nation and the Kong themed display that Universal will have this year. Taste of the Nation Orlando, now in its 27th year, will be held at the Orlando World Center Marriott this Saturday, August 27th from 6:45p.m to 10p.m.  Tickets are $150.
